TomTom has just announced that the 4.3-inch GPS the Go Live 1000 will be available this month, with the Go Live 1005 with a larger 5-inch screen soon after in October.
Each unit gives a year of free “HD Traffic” information, along with TomTom Weather, IQ Routes, and Local Search via Google. The units both feature a capacitive touch screen which is new to TomToms. Alsso new is the “easy click magnetic mount” making removing the units from a windscreen much easier.
The GO LIVE 1000 will be available in September and the GO LIVE 1005 follows in October. Pricing is £249.99 (RRP) for the GO LIVE 1000 UK/Republic of Ireland whilst the version with Europe mapping is £279.99. The GO LIVE 1005 Europe is priced £299.99.
