Nintendo are set to release Tetris Axis 3D (for 3Ds portable console) in October 2011. Tetris Axis 3D is an upcoming puzzle video game which builds on the original Tetris principle developed by Hudson Soft and it will feature over 20 game modes where the player places different shaped blocks in corresponding holes. The 3D elements offer a range of new challenges, including one wherethe pieces drop vertically downard away from you. There is also a “bombliss plus” option which you can use to blow up the blocks.
