Further to our earlier story on the Google Nexus7 Android tablet believed to be unveiled next week at Google I/O, an image has surfaced on Google Picasa that purports to have been taken from the device.
The image, which is simply of some ceiling tiles, is taken at a resolution of 1280 x 960 but this does not confirm the camera resolution nor the accuracy of the “Model” field as exif data can easily be manipulated.
The tablet is reported to only have a front facing camera in order to reduce costs, which if true would mean the front facing camera was of at least 1.3MP to produce this SXGA image.
