Virgin Media has announced it has enabled WiFi access on selected London Underground stations. Together with Transport for London, the free service which will be publicly available at the end of July, will provide free WiFi access to tablets and smartphones while at stations, although the service does not extend to transit between stations.
There is a lsit of which stations will be getting the WiFi, and when it will be available here, on your first connection you’ll need to activate your device and aftert hat it will connect seamlessly each time.
Virgin Media WiFi lets you go online at enabled stations. You’ll be able to connect in ticket halls, walkways and platforms. At every WiFi-enabled station, you’ll have instant access to the latest London news, listings and travel updates on the new Virgin Media WiFi portal.
