Sky Launches NOW TV On iPad and iPhone

Sky have announced the launch of their new On Demand TV service, first detailed back in March, Now TV which is available from today on Apple’s iPhone and iPad devices.

Now TV is available over 3G or WiFi and is available on the iPhone, iPad, selected Android devices, and PC or Mac platforms. A client for the Xbox® 360 is also coming soon. Each paying account can access the service on up to 2 compatible devices.

There are two ways to use the service. The monthly Sky Movies Pass gives instant and unlimited access to the entire Sky Movies collection for only £15/month. Alternative there is the PAYG option, dubbed “Pay & Play” this instant access to an extensive range of over 1,000 movies through Sky Store including the very latest ‘now on DVD’ releases with prices ranging from 99p to £3.49.

Additional content is still being added, and Sky also promises Sky Sports content will be available in the App before the end of the year.
