I have been trading currencies for the past few months, and it I got tired of trying to keep up with all of my exchanges on my own. I finally started looking for a way to make my task easier and decided to look for a way to keep up with everything on my phone. I came across MetaTrader4 -
First off, this app is free which is great because now I can keep up with my money without having to spend money to do it. When you download the app, you can either login to an existing account or create a new account. If you are new to currency trading, you can create a demo account and check out the features of the app. When you login, you can see how many servers are available to search for a broker. MetaTrader4 features over 800 servers of brokers, and you can check how many are available at any point.
Those who already have a broker can search for their broker and get updated exchange rates for their specific broker. If your broker is not on the list, all you have to do is call them and have them contact MetaTrader, and in a short period of time they will be on the app too. If you do not have a broker, then you can search for some and compare their rates before choosing a broker. That is a nice feature for people who are new to trading currencies and are not quite sure which broker to choose. When you create your account, you also choose how much you want to put into your account as your balance for trading. You can easily keep track with all of your orders using the app, including your pending orders.
MetaTrader4 is set up to show the top currency conversions as default currency exchange suggestions, but you can choose to compare and two currencies that you want. You can view all of the exchange rates in a list, and you can even choose to have the app make the portion where the currency rate differs bigger than the other numbers. So for instance, if one was 1.02453 and one was 1.02563 then it would look like this on the app: 1.02453 and 1.02563. That is a nice feature because it keeps people from having to check each decimal place to see how the exchange rates are different.
The only downside to this app is that the Android app does not have the cross hairs like the iPhone app does, so you cannot easily select a point. Let us hope that developers will look into it while updating the app. MetaTrader 4 allows you to select from three different graph types to view changes in the values of currency. This is a nice feature for people who can read certain types of graphs more easily than others. Anyone that is interested in currency trading can try MetaTrader 4 to easily manage their money.
