There has been much controversy about the quality of the map data in Apples Maps App in iOS6. Google Maps was removed earlier than necessary to be replaced by Apples own mapping solution, and it seemed like this caught Google off guard as unlike the YouTube standalone App, no Google Maps App was available in the App Store to put the functionality back.
But it looks like Google hasn’t wasted any time, and screenshots reportedly of the new Google Maps iOS App have been leaked on the site benguild.com – a App developer makes no mention of where these images came from, but they certainly look believable.
