The new Windows Phone 8 handset, the Samsung Ativ S is confirmed as Coming Soon on the O2 website.

The Ativ S, announced at IFA2012, has a 4.8” HD Super AMOLED display with Corning Gorilla Glass 2, 1.5Ghz dual-core processor, 1GB of onboard RAM, and an 8MP autofocus rear camera and 1.9MP front-facing camera. It comes in either 16GB or 32GB storage and is expandable with a MicroSD slot.
