Smartphone marketshare for last quarter – Google grows, Apple flattens out

Mobile analytics firm comScore have released their numbers on the last quarters growth for smartphones which show that Google has increased market share by 6% while Apple has only managed 0.5%. The big loser is RIM that produces the Blackberry range, down 4.5% and oddly Microsoft who are down 0.9% possibly showing a drop off [...]

At their media event today HP announced their two new anticipated WebOS smartphones – the Veer and the Pre 3. The Veer is powered by a Snapdragon 7230 processor running at 800MHz, has an HSPA+ radio, and sports Wi-Fi b/g, Bluetooth 2.1 +ERD, 8GB of internal storage, rear-facing camera (no flash) and mobile hotspot capabilities.
