Vodafone Customers Now Able To Use Free WiFi On London Underground

Following up on the news from last November that EE and Vodafone customers would be able to use Virgin Media WiFi On London’s Underground service, Vodafone have today announced the service is live for their customers.

From today, the 29th January, Vodafone customers are able to enjoy internet access in at least 92 Tube stations across London as part of the Virgin Media Free WiFi scheme.

Over 660,000 people have joined the service since its launch, and at the end of August Virgin Media reported that it had provided over 8 million ‘connected moments’ to subscribers during the Olympics.

The service is currently available at no extra cost to Pay as you go customers with internet as part of their price plan and all Business and Pay monthly customers. To use the service customers simply need to have signed up to My Vodafone.
