Prodigio – the first connected Nespresso machine

Tech geeks and coffee lovers can now combine their passion as Nespresso introduces its first ever smartphone connected coffee machine.

The new Prodigio machine enables users to prepare coffee remotely, be alerted when they are running low on their favourite Grands Crus and receive notifications to empty the capsule container or top up the water tank.

You can now check the status of your machine, and brew up a cup of coffee from your sofa, or even your bed. The Nespresso Prodigio machine seamlessly links with the main Nespresso smartphone app providing mobile app access to a range of features including:

  • Capsule ordering
  • Automatic brewing at a given time
  • De-scaling kit ordering and reminders
  • Capsule container full warnings
  • Empty water tank alerts
  • Error and maintenance alerts

The Nespresso Prodigio machine will be available from Nespresso Boutiques, Nespresso.com, leading department stores and cookshops and will be priced at £159 for the non-milk version and £199 for the Prodigio&Milk version with an integrated Aeroccino3 milk frother.
